Analytics & Audit

Admin analytics dashboard, audit log viewer, event types, and filtering.

Admins can use the analytics dashboard for high-level usage and adoption metrics and the audit log to see who did what and when. Both help with governance, compliance, and troubleshooting.

Admin Analytics Dashboard

The Admin Analytics (or Analytics in the Admin area) dashboard typically shows tenant-level metrics, such as:

Metric typeExamples
AdoptionActive users (DAU/WAU/MAU), new sign-ups, invite acceptance rate
SkillsNumber of assessments, skills verified, growth over time
LearningAssignments created, roadmaps started/completed, trainings completed
PerformanceAssessment requests, submissions, cycle completion
1:1Meetings created, completed, action items created/closed
IntegrationsSync success/failure, API usage

Use the dashboard to spot trends, see which features are used, and report to leadership. Exact widgets depend on your tenant configuration.

Audit Log Viewer

The audit log records events (who did what, when, and on which resource) for security and compliance.

  1. Go to AdminAudit (or Analytics & AuditAudit log).
  2. The viewer shows a list or table of events with at least: timestamp, actor (user who performed the action), action (event type), resource (e.g. person, assessment, setting), and optional details (e.g. old/new value).

Event Types

Events typically include (names may vary by tenant):

CategoryExample event types
AuthLogin, logout, failed login, password change
MembersMember added, removed, role changed; invite created, accepted, expired
ContentSkill created/updated/archived; capability updated; roadmap published
SettingsTenant settings changed; feature flag toggled; integration connected
DataBulk import started/completed; CV processed; sync run
PermissionsRole permissions changed; custom role created

Filter by event type to find specific actions (e.g. "all role changes" or "all setting changes").

Filtering

Use filters to narrow the audit log:

  • Date range — From/to so you can focus on a specific period.
  • Actor — One or more users (e.g. see everything an admin did).
  • Event type — One or more action types (e.g. member added, setting changed).
  • Resource — By resource type or ID if the log supports it (e.g. "all events for person X").

Export (if available) to CSV or similar for external compliance or investigations.

Tip: Review the audit log after major changes (e.g. role or permission updates) to confirm the right actions were taken and by the right people.
