Knowledge Base

Browse documents (role profiles, roadmaps, trainings, capability docs), search, and categories.

The Knowledge Base is your place to browse and search organizational knowledge: role profiles, roadmaps, trainings, and capability documents. Use it to understand expectations, plan learning, and find official guidance.

Browsing by Category

  1. Go to Knowledge Base (from the main nav or search).
  2. Use categories or sections (e.g. “Roles,” “Learning,” “Capabilities”) to narrow the list.
  3. Click a category to see documents in that group.
  4. Open a document to read or, for roadmaps and trainings, to start or continue.

Categories help when you’re exploring rather than searching for something specific.

Searching

  1. On the Knowledge Base page, use the search box.
  2. Enter keywords — e.g. “React,” “frontend,” “data analyst role,” “API training.”
  3. Results may include role profiles, roadmaps, trainings, and capability docs.
  4. Click a result to open it. From there you can enroll in a roadmap, start a training, or read the doc.

Search is especially useful when you know the topic or name of what you want.

Role Profiles

Role profiles describe what’s expected in a role: skills, levels, and sometimes behaviors. Use them to:

  • See what skills and levels you need for your current role.
  • Plan growth toward a target role.
  • Compare your self-assessments to the profile and identify gaps.

Open a role profile from the Knowledge Base, then use Skills Self-Assessment and Interests & Growth to close gaps.

Roadmaps

Roadmaps are multi-step learning paths. From the Knowledge Base you can:

  • Browse available roadmaps by name or category.
  • Open a roadmap to see its steps (trainings, assessments, etc.).
  • Enroll or Start to add it to your Learning and track progress.

Details on using roadmaps are in Learning and Interests & Growth.

Trainings

Trainings are individual courses or modules. From the Knowledge Base you can:

  • Find trainings by search or category.
  • Open a training to see description and structure.
  • Start or Continue if it’s assigned to you or open for self-enrollment.

Completion is tracked in Learning.

Capability Documents

Capability docs explain capability areas (e.g. “Frontend development,” “Data engineering”) and how skills fit in. Use them to:

  • Understand how skills are grouped.
  • See what “good” looks like for a capability.
  • Choose skills to assess or interests to declare.

Tip: Bookmark the Knowledge Base and search when you’re setting goals, starting a new role, or looking for the next learning step.
