Performance & Projects

Read-only access to facilitee performance data and project assignments for 1:1 facilitators.

As a 1:1 facilitator you have read-only access to your facilitees' performance data and project assignments. This visibility helps you support their development and career conversations without needing to edit anything.

What You Can See (Read-Only)

AreaWhat's visible
PerformanceAssessment cycles, self-assessments, supervisor assessments (if your tenant shows them), last assessment date, status (draft, submitted). You cannot request or submit assessments; that stays with the manager or designated role.
ProjectsProjects the facilitee is assigned to, roles, dates, clients. You cannot create or edit projects or assignments; that stays with project managers or managers.

You only see this data for people you have a 1:1 relation with. You do not see other colleagues' performance or projects unless you have another role (e.g. manager) that grants it.

Why Read-Only?

  • Separation of roles — Performance assessments and project assignments are owned by managers and project managers. The 1:1er's job is to have development conversations and use context to support the person, not to change their assessments or project list.
  • Consistency — One source of truth for who can request/submit assessments and who can assign projects avoids confusion and keeps permissions clear.

Tip: Use performance and project context to ask better questions in 1:1s (e.g. "How is the X project going?" or "I see your last assessment highlighted Y — want to work on that?") without needing to edit anything.

How to Access Performance & Projects

  1. Go to 1:1Performance & Projects (or the equivalent in your tenant).
  2. Select a facilitee (or see a list/dashboard of facilitees with summaries).
  3. View performance — cycles, assessment status, last assessment.
  4. View projects — current and past project assignments, roles, and clients.

If you don't see Performance & Projects in the 1:1 area, your role may not have the one_on_one:performance_read or one_on_one:projects_read permission. Ask your admin to confirm your permissions.

What You Cannot Do

  • Request or submit performance assessments — Only roles with manager/performance permissions can do that for their reports.
  • Create or edit projects — Only project managers or users with project management permissions can do that.
  • Assign or remove people from projects — Same as above.
  • Edit skill levels or learning assignments — Those are managed in other parts of SkillHouse (profile, manager learning, etc.).

Your value as a 1:1er is in conversation and context: use the read-only view to be informed and supportive, and direct the person to their manager or project manager for changes.
