Manager Guide Overview

What managers can do in SkillHouse — dashboard, team, projects, assessments, learning, OKRs, 1:1s, and analytics.

SkillHouse gives managers tools to support their team’s skills, performance, learning, and goals. From the Manager View you can see your direct reports, run projects and clients, request and submit performance assessments, assign learning, track team OKRs, run 1:1 meetings, and use analytics to spot trends.

Accessing the Manager View

  1. Log in to SkillHouse and open the main navigation.
  2. Go to Manager (or the equivalent label in your tenant).
  3. You’ll land on the Manager Dashboard. Use the sidebar to open Team, Projects, Assessments, Learning, OKRs, 1:1s, or Analytics.

You only see the Manager section if your account has manager permissions for the current tenant. If you don’t see it, ask your admin to assign the right role or permissions.

Manager Permissions

Access to manager features is controlled by permissions, not job title. Typical permissions include:

Referentes / Instructors can assign learning to anyone in the org, not only direct reports. 1:1 facilitators may have read-only access to performance and projects for people they have 1:1s with, even if they are not their manager.

Tip: Start from the Manager Dashboard each week to clear action items and pending assessments, then use Team Management and Analytics to see where your team stands on skills and growth.
