Learning

Learning assignments from manager/instructor, roadmap progress, training completion, quizzes, and tracking progress.

The Learning area is where you see assignments from your manager or instructor, follow roadmaps, complete trainings and quizzes, and track your progress.

Learning Assignments

Your manager (for their reports) or an instructor (if your org uses that role) can assign you:

  • Trainings — A specific course or module to complete.
  • Roadmaps — A full learning path; you may be assigned the whole roadmap or a part of it.
  • Due dates — Optional deadlines for completion.

What you’ll see

  • Assigned to me — List of current assignments with due dates and status.
  • Completed — History of finished assignments.

What you can do

  1. Open Learning from the main nav or Dashboard.
  2. Click an assignment to open the training or roadmap.
  3. Complete the content (videos, readings, exercises) and any quizzes.
  4. Mark complete or let the system mark it when all required steps are done.
  5. Optionally assess related skills after finishing to update your profile.

Tip: If you can’t finish by the due date, communicate with your manager or instructor; they may extend the date or adjust the assignment.

Roadmap Progress

Roadmaps are multi-step learning paths (e.g. “Frontend Developer,” “Data Fundamentals”). You can be assigned a roadmap or start one yourself from Interests & Growth.

  • Progress — You’ll see which steps are done and which are next.
  • Steps — May include trainings, readings, quizzes, and “assess skill X” or “request verification.”
  • Completion — The roadmap is complete when all required steps are done.

Track progress on the roadmap detail page or in your Learning dashboard.

Training Completion

For each training (course or module):

  1. Open the training from your assignment or from the Knowledge Base.
  2. Work through the sections in order (if order is enforced).
  3. Complete any quizzes or checks. You may need to pass to count as complete.
  4. Submit or finish the last step. The training is then marked complete and may feed into roadmap progress and reporting.

Some trainings allow multiple attempts on quizzes; your org’s settings define pass criteria.

Quizzes

Quizzes can appear inside trainings or roadmaps to check understanding.

  • During a training — Answer questions; you may need to pass to complete the training.
  • As part of assessment — Some skills offer quiz-based assessment (see Skills Self-Assessment).
  • Retakes — If allowed, you can retake after a cooldown or immediately, depending on configuration.

Results are stored and may be visible to your manager or learning admins for reporting.

Tracking Progress

  • Learning dashboard — Summary of assignments, roadmaps in progress, and completions.
  • Roadmap view — Per-roadmap progress bar and checklist.
  • Profile / Skills — Completed learning can inform skill suggestions and verification.

Use progress to decide what to do next and to discuss development in 1:1s or performance reviews.

Tip: Block time each week for learning. Even 30 minutes on an assignment or roadmap step keeps momentum and helps you hit due dates.
